This is at the heart of the ecological planning desired by the President of the Republic. During the presentation of his vast plan at the end of September, Emmanuel Macron insisted on the importance of the housing renovation component to achieve the objective set by France of reducing its CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030. The executive has also decided to increase by 1.6 billion euros the budget of the National Housing Agency (Anah), which notably manages MaPrimeRénov’, the main renovation assistance system, to bring it to 5 billion in total. It also sets a target of 200,000 overall renovations in 2024, compared to probably 80,000 at most this year.
