No damage reported in Oaxaca following earthquake of magnitude 7.7
In the extraordinary session of the Control and Command Center C-4 of the State Coordination of Civil Protection (CEPCO) and the Secretariat of Public Security (SSPO), it was reported that in Oaxaca there are no damages or victims, much less injured by the earthquake of 7.7 with epicenter in Coalcoman, Michoacán.
The head of the Public Security Secretariat in the Dalia Baños Noyola entity was in charge of issuing the report on the general situation following the preliminary reviews carried out by the different public agencies on the public and private physical infrastructure.
Due to the distance that we have from the state of Michoacán, the telluric movement was slight in the regions of the Coast and Mixteca, while in the Isthmus, Central Valleys, Sierra Sur and Sierra Norte it was imperceptible,” said the state official.
