Earthquake: Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool

One of the greatest coaches of all time, Jurgen Klopp, announced today (Friday) that he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. Klopp has been in charge of Liverpool since 2015, winning the championship in 2019/20 and the Champions League in 2018/19.

Klopp He said: “I will leave the club at the end of the season. I can understand that it is a shock to many at the moment, but I can explain. I love everything in this club, everything in this city and these fans, the team, everything. I am convinced that this is a decision I must make.”

“I ran out of energy. I don’t have a problem now, I knew that for a long time. I knew I would have to announce my departure. I’m fine now, but I know I can’t do this job once more and once more and once more. After all the years we had together, the time we spent together , everything we went through together, my respect and my love for you only grew. I owe you the truth.”

The 56-year-old Klopp, the oldest manager in the Premier League today, previously coached Borussia Dortmund and Mainz. He is considered one of the greatest coaches in the history of German football and the one who led Liverpool to their first championship since 1990.
