Easier for Google Mate users, new features coming soon

Video communication service Google Mate is going to introduce a number of customization features for its web and mobile users.

Technology giant Google announced last week that the company is introducing three new features to the service that will allow users to customize their appearance on Google Meet.

The first feature will give users the ability to mix different video effects. Using this, the background can be combined with filter effects to make it more dynamic.

This feature also features a new layer icon on the Self View tile to see which effects are being applied. One effect or all effects can be removed using the same icon.

The feature to combine video effects should be introduced with a new user interface that will make it easier for users to find and use new effects.

Another feature will be the introduction of studio lighting by the service. However, this feature will only be available to web users and will include Duet AI for Google Workspace Enterprise. This feature will allow you to set studio quality lighting and light settings, brightness and color.

The third and final feature is ‘Studio Sound’ which is currently available on the web version and will be introduced to the mobile version in the coming weeks. This feature will automatically improve poor quality audio from Bluetooth headsets and dial-in participants using artificial intelligence.

Some of these features will be available to Google Mate iOS and Android users in the next two weeks, while web users will get all the features by the end of this month.
