Today, the highest temperature in Gangneung during the day has exceeded 35 degrees, and a heat wave warning has been issued for the entire east coast of Gangwon-do.
There are many people who want to escape the heat as the heat does not cool down even in the evening.
Although it is not yet possible to get in at night, you are soaking your feet in the rushing seawater and sitting on the white sandy beach to cool off in the cool sea breeze.

Starting from here in Gangneung and Yangyang, Sokcho tomorrow, and Donghae and Samcheok beaches on the 13th.
All 83 beaches along Gangwon’s east coast will be open until next week.
In addition to the beer festival starting at Gyeongpo Beach today, beach performances and festivals such as the Rock Festival are held one after another.
At some beaches in Gangneung and Sokcho, night access is also allowed from the middle of this month until 9pm.
It is expected that the number of vacationers visiting the East Coast beach this summer will reach 9 million, an increase of 90% from last year.
Although it has been alleviated a lot, the quarantine rules must still be followed.

Gangwon Donghae Beach will be open for up to 50 days until the end of next month.
