Ebola outbreak in Uganda under control

Africa CDC acting director Ahmed Ogwell Ouma told a briefing that if no new cases were reported in Uganda by January 10, the outbreak would be over.

Ouma told reporters that so far there have been 142 confirmed cases of Ebola and 55 deaths in the Ugandan outbreak. Vaccine trials once morest the Sudanese strain of Ebola are underway, he added.
