For several weeks, the Ecolo party has provoked a lot of reactions on various social issues. Particularly in Brussels, where certain decisions have caused quite a few politicians to react.
The main cause ? The vote on the authorization to wear convictional signs in the administration of the municipality of Anderlecht. Since this was accepted, part of the Belgian political world has spoken out on numerous occasions to declare their dissatisfaction.
Alain Maron, Green Minister of the Environment and Health of the Brussels-Capital Region, published a message on X regarding the detractors of the Green Party. “Ecolo is the party most at the forefront of gender equality, feminism in general, LGBTQIA+ rights, EVRAS…. The outrageous comments of conservative party presidents during the electoral campaign change nothing,” he wrote on the social network.
