Argentine club Boca Juniors announced today, Saturday, its contract with Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, until December 2024.

Cavani was a player in the Spanish club Valencia, before the two parties reached an agreement regarding the termination of the contract, which extends until the summer of 2024, by mutual consent between the two parties, earlier today.

Cavani began his professional period in the European leagues in 2006 through the Italian club Palermo, coming from the Uruguayan club Danubio, before joining the Italian southern team, Napoli, in 2010.

In 2013, the 36-year-old joined the French club Paris Saint-Germain, and stayed with him until he moved to English Manchester United in 2020, where he played two seasons, before moving to the “bat” club in a free transfer.
