Egypt.. An increase in gold balances in the Central Bank

The Central Bank of Egypt revealed that its total assets increased to 6.213 trillion pounds at the end of October 2024, compared to 6.090 trillion pounds at the end of last September, according to the financial list issued by the bank today.

The Central Bank’s net profits increased by about 13.6 billion pounds, and reached 107.693 billion pounds at the end of October 2024, compared to 96.056 billion pounds at the end of last September.

The Central Bank’s monthly financial position list revealed that reserves reached 403.147 billion pounds, and the capital of the Central Bank reached 21.600 billion pounds at the end of October 2024, and the bank’s total assets increased to 6.213 trillion pounds at the end of October 2024, compared to 6.090 trillion pounds at the end of last September.

The Central Bank of Egypt increased its assets with the International Monetary Fund to record 31.172 billion pounds at the end of October, compared to 18.243 billion at the end of September 2024.

According to the Central Bank’s monthly financial position report, its contributions to the capitals of subsidiaries and sister companies reached 79.099 billion pounds at the end of last October, and its contributions to the capitals of international financial institutions recorded 26.210 billion pounds at the end of last October.

Bank loans and deposits at the Central Bank recorded 313.782 billion pounds at the end of October 2024, compared to 313.898 billion pounds at the end of last September.
