In a joint press conference with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Najla Al-Manqoush said: “We respect the position of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, but we do not necessarily agree with him, because it is against the charter of the League of Arab States and Security Council resolutions, and it is known that my presence today is internationally supported by charters. international”.
In response to a question about why Libya did not apologize for the presidency of this session, as happened previously, to avoid an internal crisis for Arab action, Al-Manqoush said: “There is no crisis, what happened is a difference of views, and there are always differences in views, there is a certain political point of view. We may disagree or agree with it, and the topic of discussion was very smooth, and the session continued and succeeded and was chaired by Libya.”
