The country has witnessed a sharp rise in temperatures since last Friday, as temperatures sometimes reached 41 degrees.
The General Authority of Meteorology announced that the weather conditions will improve in Cairo governorate and the north of the country, while the cities overlooking the Red Sea and southern Upper Egypt remain affected by sand and dust.
Egypt is affected during this period of the year by five-year winds that affect the weather and cause dust storms.
The meteoblue weather maps show fluctuations in the weather over the next week.
Cairo temperatures
In Cairo Governorate, temperatures are recorded on Saturday at 37 degrees, then they start to drop until they reach 34 degrees at the end of the week, specifically on Thursday.
While the minimum temperatures recorded today, Friday, were 27 degrees, while they will continue to decrease until next Thursday, to record 22 degrees Celsius, to increase the feeling of relative coldness at night, while the temperature on the same day during the day will record 34 degrees.
Alexandria weather
As for Alexandria, it witnesses relative stability in temperatures, as it records the maximum low at 29 degrees, and the maximum high at 33 degrees.
As for the minimum temperatures, they will drop to 18 degrees Celsius on Monday night, according to forecasts by “meteoblue”.
North Upper Egypt
As for the cities in northern Upper Egypt, the maximum temperature will be recorded next Tuesday, “41”, while the minimum temperature will decrease from 28 degrees today, Friday, to 21 degrees next Thursday.
South Upper Egypt
The governorates of southern Upper Egypt will record the highest temperature in Egypt over the next week, as it will record 43 degrees next Tuesday, while the lowest temperature will be 39 degrees.
