Egyptian actress Maha Abu Auf dies after a battle with cancer

The Egyptian actress, Maha Abu Auf, passed away at the age of 65, after a struggle with cancer.
The Representative Professions Syndicate mourned the late artist, in a statement, in which she said, “The funeral prayer is tomorrow at noon from the Mosque of the Most Merciful, the Compassionate, Salah Salem.”

Maha was born in November 1956 and graduated from the American University in Cairo, before joining with her sisters Mona, Mervat and Manal the 4M band formed by their brother Ezzat Abu Auf at the end of the seventies.
In parallel with her launch in the world of singing, director Hassan El-Imam presented her in a small role in the movie (Do not oppress women) in front of Hussain El-Imam, Hana Tharwat, Tahia Karioka and Saeed Saleh.
After that, she rolled her cinematic works, including (I do not lie, but I beautify), (Forbidden for students), (Hotline), (Summer Love is Crazy), (The Best Times), (Forgive us, we are deceived), (Prince of the Seas) and (Marriage cheating). ).
In the television drama, she presented the series “The Account,” “The Other Man,” “Al-Khawaja Abdel Qader,” “The Witch of the South,” and “Ard Jaw.”
She was married for a short time to the artist Omar Khorshid, before his death in a traffic accident in 1981, and then she married and gave birth to her only son, Sharif.
