The Egyptian men’s volleyball team advanced over Algeria with a score of 2-0 in the final of the African Championship in the version held in Egypt at Cairo Stadium.

The volleyball team qualified for the final by defeating Cameroon by a score of 3-1 the day before yesterday, Monday, while the Algerian team qualified by defeating its Libyan counterpart by a score of 3-2.
The Volleyball team succeeded in qualifying for the semi-finals after defeating Morocco 3-0 on Saturday evening in the quarter-finals, after defeating Kenya 3-0 in the round of 16 on Friday evening.
The Egyptian team qualified for the round of 16 after occupying second place in the first group, where it was defeated by its Algerian counterpart with a score of 3-0 in the second round, after achieving a victory over the Burundi team with a score of 3-0 in the first round.
