The net profit of the Egyptian MM Group decreased by 60.7% during the first quarter of 2022, to record 51 million pounds, compared to 130.23 million pounds for the same period in 2021.
The company’s revenues decreased to 1.9 billion pounds, or 22.9%, for the mentioned period, from 2.5 billion pounds during the first quarter of 2021.
The total profit amounted to 179 million pounds during the first quarter of this year, a decrease of 37.3% compared to about 286 million pounds in the first quarter of the previous year.
Earnings per share also decreased from 0.11 pounds in the first quarter of 2021, to 0.05 pounds for the same period in 2022.
