The stock exchange said in a statement today, Monday, that trading will resume tomorrow at the usual times, with the stock exchange management confirming that all transactions executed during today’s session will be considered until the trading system is stopped.
Earlier, the Egyptian Stock Exchange announced that the trading system was temporarily suspended due to a technical malfunction, and work is underway to fix it.
The stock exchange management denied, according to its statement, the rumors circulating regarding a cyber attack on the stock exchange servers.
And the stock exchange stated at the time: “We are currently communicating with the Nasdaq Foundation team to work on resolving the problem.”
