Step.- An El Paso couple, who had been married for more than 25 years, were found dead in their Northeast home in a murder-suicide case, El Paso Police (EPPD) officials said Monday.
The bodies of Eric Sheeran, 58, and Deborah Sheeran, 56, were discovered Sunday followingnoon at their home in the 9800 block of Sidewinder Street, near Dolphin Terrace Elementary School, police said.
They were found following a family member became concerned and called the police because they hadn’t heard from Deborah Sheeran for regarding three days. Officers found the couple dead in the home, authorities said.
Officers also found an object that resembled a grenade so the El Paso Bomb Squad was contacted to handle the item.
EPPD says that following careful examination, the grenade “was not an explosive device.”
