Only in the current Government that is regarding to end, El Salvador has managed to attract $161.8 million in foreign investment. In the last 5 years, the country has attended 142 business missions and has had 340 economic promotion events.
The information was provided today by the Chancellor of the Republic, Alexandra Hill Tinoco, in a meeting with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the country, where she detailed that to date, 45 economic agreements with strategic allies have been concluded.
The official also reported that, in technical and financial cooperation, $270.4 million has been managed with international cooperating partners, historic advances in security that had not been achieved before.
In economic and commercial matters, USD$161.8 million in foreign direct investment were generated in this five-year period that is regarding to end.
