Hamburg – There is another insolvency case in the Signa real estate group. The owner of the Elbtower property, Elbtower Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG, has according to the city of Hamburg filed for bankruptcy. The city development authority announced on Friday that the city might now assert its right of repurchase and take over all planning and construction contracts. The Elbtower construction site has been at a standstill since the end of October.
