Elden Ring messaging system added to Fallout: New Vegas

Over the past month, the world of Elden Ring has been filled with various messages from different players. Sometimes these are helpful tips, sometimes not so much. There are jokes and jokes. Or just short “adventure” stories. Although you can get tired of them in dozens of hours, this is a glorious tradition from the time of Dark Souls, which no one is in a hurry to abandon.

Now, a modder has added a similar Elden Ring system to Fallout: New Vegas, encouraging PC gamers to communicate similarly.

The Building Bridges is a plugin created by modder Tomminfinite. It allows New Vegas players to leave messages for other gamers. Players who have the mod installed will see messages in the places where they were left by another gamer, even if it happened just a few minutes ago. In the video below, you can see how this asynchronous “multiplayer” works, where one player advises to jump off a cliff, another message warns of a mine … however, the message is too close to the trap.

Messages appear as pieces of paper on the ground. Like in Elden Ring, you can leave ratings in Fallout: New Vegas. A positive rating increases the level, and with each level you can leave more messages and they will be longer.

An internet connection is required for the mod to work. And how to use the system, you can read on the pages of fashion.

It is worth considering that the mod requires several plugins to work: JIP LN NVSE Plugin, SUP NVSE And xNVSE.
