Commenting on the possibility of a high rate of abstention from the polls, he said that “there must be a call for democratic participation of the people in the polls, abstention is not a solution and all parties and each of us must be able to contribute to maximizing participation.”
“I consider that simple proportionality creates a political risk, it is a problem for the country’s stability, which is the necessary condition for the country to move forward and escape from the pending issues,” the minister added.
Speaking about the election results, he said that “the process is completely digitized, now all judicial representatives will have tablets, we will have in about an hour, at 20:00, 25% of the results, at 21:00 80% and a cross at 11:30 to 12:00”.

Regarding the digitization of the electoral process, “you do this last because first the entire state, all the services, must have been digitized.
