Electoral tie: let’s all play the final

Without a doubt, the primary elections were a crucial event for the future of our country and left a series of impressions that deserve to be carefully analyzed.

One of the most outstanding aspects of this electoral contest was the surprising support obtained by the candidate Javier Milei, whose number of votes exceeded all expectations.

His unexpected success strengthened his image as a central figure on today’s political scene.

However, when examining the results objectively, we can see that the difference between it and the second force, Together for Change, is less than two percent.

This leads us to consider that, in reality, there was no “big winner”, but rather a technical tie in percentage terms.

The message conveyed by the results is that approximately 60% of Argentines yearn for profound change in our nation. Obviously, there is a growing feeling of weariness and discontent in society, which was reflected at the polls. However, it is crucial to highlight that only about 70% of citizens exercised their right to vote.

Herein lies my concern as a national senator. The 30% of Argentines who decided not to participate in these elections have an undeniable importance in building our future. I invite you to join the democratic process on October 22 and cast your vote. Our nation is strengthened when all of its citizens actively participate in decision making.

Ultimately, let us remember that the election of the next president of Argentina must be an election of all and for all. The voice of every Argentine matters and, by exercising our right to vote, we help shape the path our nation will take in the years to come.

Together we can build a better and more prosperous future for all.
