As it had been known months ago, the Renault Megane E-Tech electric officially arrived in Latin America. His debut took place in Brazil as part of the event “E-Tech 100% electric days” held in São Paulo, Brazil, from September 5 to 7, and where other electric models of the brand are also present, such as the Kwid E-Tech, Zoe, Master E-Tech and the new Kangoo E-Tech.
But back to the Mégane E-Tech. First of all, it must be remembered that It is no longer the compact car that we knew years ago as sedan or hatchback: now it’s an electric crossover. Under this concept it has been sold in Europe since February of this year, on a par with the Combustion Mégane of the previous generation.
And secondly, with its debut in the neighboring country several data confirmed regarding its commercialization in the region. Both what is related to its configuration, and the tentative dates for its arrival in showcases. For Brazil it will be in the third quarter of 2023. And for Colombia, in a few hours the data will be revealed.
Renault Mégane E-Tech electric: general repair
In Latin America, or at least in Brazil, the electric Renault Mégane E-Tech It will be sold with the engine of 220 hp and 300 Nm of torquepowered by batteries with 60kWh capacity.
