electro, reggae and African metal go hand in hand

The first salvo will be given by Arnaud Rebotini, pioneer of electro, and contemporary Cabaret, who has already passed through Boulevard Carnot three times. The two names are not strangers to each other, as Rebotini’s name is featured on the Cabaret’s latest album.

Big musical gap, the next day, with the arrival of Ar’Kan Asrafokor and Imparfait, who have fun messing around with rock and metal sounds in the middle of African music for the first and on a rap phrasing for the second.

The last round, Wednesday October 19, but not the least, will see the group Groundation, legend, no less, of world reggae. For twenty-one years, Groundation has blended reggae, Latin and jazz in an impeccable fusion that gave birth, in 2018, to a new album. Alongside them, Eliasse, a group of Comorian origin, opens the evening with a mix of afrobeat, rock and maloya.
