A person died of electrocution on Monday followingnoon on the tracks of the metro in Brussels. The information, reported by several media, was confirmed by STIB.
A metro driver saw someone walking on the tracks between Madou and Botanique stations and informed dispatch, but before help arrived or the power was cut off, the person was electrocuted. Informed, the Brussels public prosecutor’s office descended on the scene.
Metro traffic on lines 2 and 6 was interrupted between Elisabeth and Porte de Hal stations due to the incident.
