TAIPEI/BEJING – Eleven Chinese military planes crossed the center line of the Strait of Taiwan, considered the unofficial border between the two countries, on Friday, Taiwan said. A total of 24 aircraft, including fighter jets and bombers, have been spotted near Taiwan, the Taiwan Ministry of Defense said. Five warships of the People’s Republic were also on the way.
