The artist Elham Shaheen was a guest on the “Book of Fame” program, presented by the Lebanese journalist, Ali Yassin, and broadcast on the “Al Jadeed” channel.
“Ilham” talked regarding her artistic beginnings and her relationship with the artistic community, in addition to the details of her personal life and her relationship with her mother, and her spiritual relationship with the heavenly religions, whether Islam or Christianity.
The artist, Elham Shaheen, responded to the program presenter’s question regarding the reason for her change in her position on Sheikh Al-Shaarawi and the reason for her attack on him following she was asking the audience to watch his programs and learn from him, and she said, “I never say, watch his videos.”
The broadcaster showed a video clip of her from one of the programs, in which she said: “Learn from Sheikh Al-Shaarawi.”
She commented on the video clip, saying: “I cannot say learn from him,” explaining: “I said that because this is old and I had not yet watched his videos, and at that time it was the time of the January 25 revolution, and I was saying that so that people would be guided and start building the country, and I was saying that as long as people love him, learn from him.” I have not watched any videos, I am once morest everything in them.”
