US billionaire Elon Musk revealed in a tweet on Saturday that a Twitter video app for smart TVs is part of the social media company’s plans, a move in line with the company’s new plans to focus on increasing video content on the platform.
In response to a tweet indicating the need for a video version of the Twitter application, Musk replied, “It will be available” soon.
In a presentation to investors on Thursday, Elon Musk and Twitter CEO Linda Iaccarino revealed Twitter’s plans to focus on video, content creation and business partnerships to drive the social media company’s business beyond digital .
