Private sources told Al-Riyadiah that the formation of Musli Al-Muammar, the candidate for the presidency of the non-profit organization of Al-Nasr Club, his electoral list with more than the minimum quorum of three names, is a “proactive step”, in anticipation of losing any of them due to appeals.
The list consists of seven names other than Mesli, while the regulation requires that the number of members of the Board of Directors not be less than five, and not more than nine.
According to the same sources, the competing list, led by Thamer Al-Yamani, submitted several appeals against it, the day before yesterday, citing various reasons, including the lack of proficiency of two members of the list of entertainers in the English language.
The list of non-profit organizations approved by the Ministry of Sports requires that all applicants for presidency and membership be proficient in written and spoken English.
Al-Yamani and his companions doubted that the entire Muammar family list met this condition, and they relied on other reasons in their appeals.
Before submitting the papers, Mesli took care of the appeals, and included seven names next to him in the list running for the elections, so that he could continue in the race even if three of them were excluded.
In turn, the Muammar family list also filed a petition of appeals against Al-Yemeni, and filled it, according to the sources, with all the loopholes it saw in its competitor.
