Elon Musk changes his mind and puts his offer back on the table, the network will accept it

Bouncing in the tech saga of the year : Elon Musk did an about-face on Tuesday and again offers to buy Twitter at the price offered in the spring, according to a letter filed with the stock market authorities. And the network indicated in the process that it intended to complete the transaction.

Twitter issued this statement about today’s news: We received the letter from the Musk parties which they have filed with the SEC. The intention of the Company is to close the transaction at $54.20 per share.

Elon Musk wrote a letter to Twitter offering to acquire it for $54.20 per share, valuing the network at $44 billion. The boss of Tesla poses as a condition the end of the action brought by the company in justice in Delaware.

Elon Musk withdrew his offer in July, accusing Twitter of covering up the true proportion of bots (fake accounts). Twitter had taken legal action to force Elon Musk to honor his initial offer, and a lawsuit was to be held in ten days.
