Twitter’s current idea is to push for a 4-day trial before the end of September before the October 24 expiration of the acquisition. And Musk’s proposed date is no earlier than February 13, 2023, which is almost five months later. “The core controversy about fake, spam accounts fundamentally affects the value of Twitter,” Musk’s lawyers wrote. “Determining this is extremely factual and expert support, and it will take a lot of preparation.”
Delaware State Court Justice Kathaleen McCormick has scheduled a hearing on the case at 11 a.m. ET on July 19, after which the time for the case should be finalized.
