The American billionaire has indeed asserted on having prevented a Ukrainian attack on the Russian fleet from the Black Sea last year, confirming information from his soon-to-be published biography.
“We received an urgent request from the Ukrainian authorities” to activate Internet access in the Black Sea via our Starlink satellite, deployed in Ukraine shortly after the invasion, said Elon Musk on.
It was obvious that their intention was to sink the Russian fleet.

Not being “complicit in a major act of war”
The SpaceX boss goes on to say that he refused to activate Starlink on the grounds that his company would then have been “accomplice of a major act of war”. “Our terms of service clearly prohibit the use of Starlink for offensive military actions, since we are a civilian system,” he tweeted on X.
