In recent weeks, several decisions by the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, have changed the habits of users of the social network.

After limiting the number of tweets seen, it’s the turn of the Tweetdeck platform to be reserved for certified accounts.
These many decisions are made to quietly change the application, according to an expert.
“We are in the process of transforming this application, it hurts the old Twitter users who used it to get information and to discuss because we are really changing the experience of the application, because we are losing our bearings,” explains Bruno Guglielminetti, host of the digital news podcast Mon Carnet.
Elon Musk wants to create his personalized social network using existing Twitter followers.
“We are really in a crisis of evolution. When Elon Musk bought Twitter, he didn’t hide, he wanted to create another application which is the X application which is going to be a Swiss penknife, a bit like WeChat makes it possible to do in the Asian world. [Une application] which allows you to tweet, but also to buy, sell, watch, have fun, etc., to make it a great application,” he says.
