Elton John: Turbulent emergency landing with his private jet

The pilot radioed ahead and requested an emergency landing. Firefighters raced to the runway to be there. However, due to the extreme winds of the Franklin storm, which swept over the airfield at 130 km/h, the plane had to abort its emergency landing twice – it was only possible to land successfully on the third attempt.
