Elvis movie actress dies at 44

Actress Shonka Dukureh, who can be seen currently in the movie Elvis released in theaters on June 24, died Thursday at the age of 44, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Nashville Metropolitan Police confirmed that the entertainer was found dead in her apartment where she lived with her two children.

The cause of death of Shonka Dukureh remains unknown at this time, but at first glance, it would not be a suspicious death, say the authorities.

According to the daily The Tennessean, it was one of the actress’s children who found her unconscious, then immediately went to alert a neighbor who called 911 around 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
