Somerset: A trial of emergency alerts will take place today (Sunday) in the UK as part of improving safety systems. At 3pm UK time, an alarm will go off on phones lasting around 10 seconds. British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden said emergency alerts might help save lives of the public in the future.
