Emergencies are currently “out of control” according to the Regroupement des chefs d’urgence du Québec (RCUQ) which denounced the situation in a letter addressed to Minister Christian Dubé.
Jérémie Rainville paints the portrait of this critical situation addressed in an article from La Presse, Sunday, on the program Even on weekends.
“What we need to understand is that there is currently an indecent occupancy rate. If on September 1, we were below 110% occupancy, here, we take an average, we are now around 127.2% occupancy. The Hôtel-Dieu in Sorel has 165% occupancy,” reports Jérémie Rainville.
