EMI for unpurchased mobile phone!; The youth lost Rs 7,620

Lucknow: The young man was charged Rs 7,620 for a mobile phone he did not buy. The incident took place in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Rakesh Kumar Rawat is the victim of financial fraud. The fraud came to know when he received a message that Rs 7,620 was debited from Rakesh’s bank account.

Then when he approached the bank, the staff informed that the money was taken as mobile phone EMI. Rakesh, who came to know about the fraud, approached the police but no action was taken. Then he approached the court with a complaint. Following the court order, the police registered an FIR.

Rakesh said that when he approached the shopkeeper to inquire about the incident, he started threatening him. The debtor and his accomplices assaulted and threatened him. Rakesh stated that the creditor said that he pays for mobile phones without their consent and that he is not afraid of the law.

Rakesh says that he has applied for the loan with fake identity documents and his back account information. When he did not get any help from the police, he even filed a complaint with the commissioner. But there is no action.
Mahanagar SHO said that an FIR has been registered in the matter and investigation has started.
