JEDDAH, July 16, WAM/ The Arab Football Association announced the sponsorship of Emirates Airlines for the 2023 King Salman Cup for Clubs, as the main sponsor of the tournament, which is scheduled from July 27 to August 12, in Taif, Abha and Al-Baha.
The announcement of the sponsorship signing came at a press conference held today in Jeddah, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Arab Federation, Dr. Raja Allah Al-Salami, and Vice President of Commercial Operations for Emirates Airlines in Saudi Arabia, Jabr Al-Azibi.
The Secretary-General of the Arab Football Association welcomed this sponsorship, stressing that it will add great success to the championship, looking forward to other sponsorships with major companies.
Al-Salami thanked Jabr Al-Azibi, Vice President of Commercial Operations for Emirates Airlines in the Kingdom, and Emirates Airlines for choosing the Arab Federation and sponsoring the championship.
For his part, Jabr Al-Azibi said that the sponsorship of a large tournament, the size of the “King Salman” Cup for clubs, came after a deep study by the company, following a great interest in the tournament, as it bears a name dear to everyone.
He added, “Emirates Airlines is accustomed, according to its strategy, to sports sponsorships by choosing the best international events and tournaments in various games, and the King Salman Cup for Arab clubs is one of them.”
