Abu Dhabi: The application form for Emirates ID, the UAE’s national identity card, has been updated. Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security Authority (ICP) said that the procedures have been simplified and streamlined. 7 amendments have been made in the revised application.
The QR code is placed on the right side of the application. Scan it and all details of the applicant will be available. The photo should be placed on the left side. There are QR codes for filing complaints and fingerprinting. In addition to the company address, there will also be information regarding the courier company that will deliver the card.
It is possible to modify the information in the application and change the date and time of fingerprinting. Application status can also be tracked online.
