AJMAN, September 19/WAM/ The Ajman Economic Development Department has honored the Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation and the International Charitable Organization for their contributions and cooperation with the Department in supporting its initiatives in the field of community development, and for their role in the success of the “Tijoury” initiative aimed at empowering families with low incomes. By financing 6 projects so far as part of the initiative that will continue until the end of this year.
His Excellency Abdullah Ahmed Al Hamrani, Director-General of the Department of Economic Development, said that the Department’s partnership with the Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation and the International Charitable Organization in the “Tijoury” initiative confirms the extent of cohesion between institutions to enhance social and development responsibility, improve the quality of life and provide a decent life for all members of society.
He added that the initiative aims to financially support 10 families of low-income families in the Emirate of Ajman, in addition to the department providing consultancy, marketing services and training courses in various fields to open “home projects” within a leadership program to engage in economic activities from home, with the aim of contributing to alleviating their financial burdens. Encouraging them to start commercial activities, providing them with an additional source of income, and strengthening ties with the community.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al-Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charitable Organization, said that the organization’s support for the “Tijuri” initiative is part of its humanitarian mission to help the defaulters, and to stand with those who have narrowed their ways, including the owners of small projects who were unable to fulfill their obligations related to commercial licenses. In addition to strengthening its relations with government agencies, on top of which is the Department of Economic Development, which is an important partner in the path of goodness, and thanks a lot to all the benefactors and benefactors who contribute to the Authority’s initiatives and projects on the precious soil of the Emirates.
His Excellency Tariq Abdullah Al-Awadi, Director General of the Humaid Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, said that the Foundation’s role revolves around communicating and coordinating with businessmen, investors, and institutions of public interest interested in contributing to society to donate and finance the mentioned projects.
