Kentucky, July 29/WAM/ Heavy rains caused massive flooding Thursday in eastern Kentucky, USA, killing at least 8 people, according to state Governor Andy Bashir.
The state’s governor said it was the worst flood in modern history, describing it as “devastating and deadly”, at a time when the number of missing was still unknown.
And collected in parts of Kentucky about 20 centimeters of rain water within 24 hours, and more rain is expected until Friday evening, amid the continued state of alert in the face of floods.
