Emirates News Agency – Chinese referees to manage the UAE and Iraq match in the World Cup qualifiers

ABU DHABI, 23rd March / WAM / The Asian Football Confederation has assigned a Chinese referee team to manage the match of our national team with its Iraqi brother in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Thursday, at King Fahd International Stadium in the Saudi capital, “Riyadh”.

The Chinese international, Ma Ning, will be the referee of the arena, assisted by Shi Ziyang as a first assistant, Kao Yi as a second assistant and the Kuwaiti Ahmed Al-Ali as a fourth referee, while Ming Fu will be a referee for the “mouse”, assisted by Jordan’s Adham Makhdameh.

It was also decided during the technical meeting of the match that our national team will wear the full white uniform, while the Iraqi team will wear the green uniform.

The match will be held at nine in the evening UAE time, for the account of the first group, in which our team is ranked third, with 9 points, while the Iraqi team is ranked fifth, with 5 points.

The technical meeting was attended by our team, Yasser Salem, the team manager, Salem Al-Naqbi, the media official, and Hassan Fahd, head of the national teams support department.
