She explained, in an exclusive interview with the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the Expo’s award to the international award represents the international event’s commitment on a larger scale to gender equality, pointing out that the idea of ​​the award is to discuss areas of equality between men and women in all fields, and the importance of the award for Expo is great. To identify the number of men and women working in the International Foundation, which indicated that 53% of the workers are women, it is led by Her Excellency Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of the Expo 2020 Dubai office.

Dina Story described the international certificates as an important appreciation that praises this edition of the World Expo’s continued commitment to gender equality in the workplace, and continued: “Applying for the award is not only in order to highlight ourselves, but to show the world the importance of equality between men and women in the Expo platform. For us, as a team working at Expo Dubai, we have already focused on social sustainability in addition to environmental and economic sustainability, so we submitted the award and we have many other international certificates that We obtained it in the areas of sustainability, including Leeds and ISO 20121 certification, in order to consolidate the principle of sustainability at Expo 2020.”

She drew attention to the attempt to focus on the importance of social sustainability through gender equality, as well as caring for people of determination, stressing that Expo is a pioneering platform that had a specific approach in empowering women who work in all fields of security, construction, operations management, medicine, economy and other specialized and possibly difficult fields. which men work.
