Emirates News Agency – During a phone call with Abdullah bin Zayed, the British Foreign Secretary strongly condemns the Houthi terrorist attack

ABU DHABI, 28th January, 2020 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed, during a phone call, with Liz Truss, British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, the solid strategic and historical relations between the two countries and their joint efforts to consolidate security and stability in the region.

During the phone call, H.E. Liz Truss affirmed her strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack of the terrorist Houthi militia on civilian areas and facilities on UAE soil, which took place on January 17, which resulted in civilian casualties.

Her Excellency also stressed that these terrorist attacks undermine the efforts made to achieve security and stability in the region.

She offered her sincere condolences to the UAE for the victims of the terrorist attack and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.
