Capitals on September 19 / WAM / Global gold prices fell during today’s trading, to lose more than 7 dollars, while silver rose alone, violating the general trend.
According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal in spot transactions decreased by 0.44%, or the equivalent of $7.31 to reach $1668.17 per ounce, by 09:40 am UAE time.
And gold futures contracts for December delivery fell 0.43%, equivalent to $7.25, to reach $1,688.7 an ounce.
In terms of other precious metals, silver rose 0.17% to $19.41 an ounce, while palladium fell by 0.96% to $2116.52, and platinum fell 0.26% to $903.8.
