DUBAI, 9th May / WAM / Raki Phillips, CEO of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority commended the tireless efforts made by the government of the United Arab Emirates in recovering from the effects of the global pandemic, noting that the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority aims through its participation in the Souq. He pointed out – in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” – that the international exhibitions held in the UAE are an opportunity for all countries, especially the Arabs, to attract investors to their countries in the tourism, hotel and aviation sectors, stressing that the UAE always remains at the top thanks to its unique initiatives and defiance of the crisis. He stated that the UAE is one of the largest countries that receives foreign tourists from all over the world, and that 2022 is a promising and optimistic year in the tourism sector, especially with the recovery from the Covid 19 pandemic, pointing out that the Arabian Travel Market 2022 in Dubai is a unique opportunity for the world to meet again, after Two years of Corona virus, and learn about the best tourist destinations and the extent of benefiting from the experiences provided in the tourism sector.
He added that the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah offers a diverse range of unforgettable experiences, where visitors can explore its charming landscapes, starting from the sea, the beach and the desert to the mountain ranges, and with its ancient history, traditions and rich culture dating back more than 7,000 years, as well as its sandy beaches. He added that Ras Al Khaimah has strengthened its position as a safe and reliable tourist destination, as it was the first city in the world to obtain the “Protection Guarantee” label from “Peru Veritas” and the “Safe Travel” seal from the World Travel and Tourism Council after the pandemic.
He revealed that the Arabian Travel Market is also an important opportunity to discover the adventures and natural attractions of Ras Al Khaimah, such as Jebel Jais; Jess Slider, the bobsleigh on the longest steel track in the region, Jess Summit Adventure, the UAE’s highest restaurant, 1484 by Borough, and Bear Grylls Explorers Camp, allowing people to learn life skills in Prairie.
He called on visitors to visit the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which is considered an ideal destination for desert adventures and the experience of living in nature, and its services for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions, and it has established its position as one of the fastest growing sustainable tourism destinations in the region, and continues to host many prominent regional and international events annually, in addition to On major sporting events, such as marathons, golf and the Desert Warrior Challenge.
