DUBAI, 3rd October, WAM / Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Emirates Football Association, sent a cable of condolences to His Excellency Muhammad Iriawan, President of the Indonesian Football Association, expressing his sincere condolences and sympathy for the victims of the stampede that occurred during a football match in the Indonesian Premier League.
In the telegram, the president of the federation expressed his deep sorrow over the accident that claimed the lives of a number of football fans.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, on behalf of the Emirati football family, offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the Indonesian football family, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, and affirmed the UAE Football Association’s standing by the football community in Indonesia in these difficult times.
