ABU DHABI, 15th December, 2020 (WAM) — Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony of the fifty-second session and the twelfth female session of pilot candidates at the Khalifa bin Zayed Air College. This course included candidates from a number of sister countries.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Matar Salem Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, a number of officials and senior officers of the Ministry of Defense and the police, military attaches in the embassies of brotherly and friendly countries in the country, and the families of the graduates.

His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan handed out the awards to the first graduates, offering his congratulations and blessings to them for their efforts and excellence, and urging them to benefit from the sciences and skills they received in order to enhance the achievements of the homeland and defend it and perform their duties efficiently and competently, stressing that His Highness the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, “may God protect him,” Khalifa bin Zayed Air College is the biggest supporter of the excellence of this academic edifice.
After that, the flag was handed over and received from the 52nd session to the 53rd session, accompanied by the flag oath to keep it raised high, and the leader of the column, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, asked permission to leave the ceremony field with a majestic military parade, then the Knights team presented an air show that won the admiration of the audience His Highness took souvenir photos with the graduates.
Brigadier General Staff Pilot Buti Ali Al Neyadi, Commander of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College, delivered a speech in which he expressed his happiness and gratitude for the honoring of Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College graduation ceremony for the fifty-second session and the second female course. Ten of the candidates who completed the requirements for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in aviation sciences and air support, in cooperation and partnership with the Higher Colleges of Technology, indicating that this batch includes a number of candidates from sister countries, and they are from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Sudan.
The college commander quoted the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, saying: “We are proud to see the youth of the nation and its protectors carrying the honor of soldiery and its solid values, and they are ready and prepared.”
In his speech, he stated, “The continuous support of our leadership and its insightful vision made us reach our successes and excellence, and this distinction resulted in Khalifa bin Zayed Air College obtaining institutional accreditation and academic accreditation this year for the next five years, which is a new achievement to be added.” In addition to its record of continuous success, we provide our Armed Forces, Air Force and Air Defense with an elite of officers, whose impact we see as a shield for the homeland,” he said, expressing his thanks and gratitude to the wise leadership.
On this precious occasion, he addressed a speech to the graduates, blessing them for passing the stages of military training and academic education..which was the culmination of sincere effort and hard work, stressing that the winner; He is the strongest in will, the most steadfast in determination, and the best in knowledge and competence, stressing that in the next stage they must redouble effort and giving and uphold the value of work, competence and dedication to duty.
He extended his thanks and gratitude to the Ministry of Defense, the Supreme Council, universities and colleges, and to the Air Force and Air Defense Command for the unlimited support to raise the capabilities and capabilities of the college, and to the salary of the college, faculty members, and training teams, for their tangible contributions to the success of the college.
In conclusion of his speech; He renewed his thanks to His Highness for honoring the graduation ceremony of the candidates in this session, so that they would be a support and honor for the United Arab Emirates, renewing the covenant and loyalty to the homeland and the leadership, so that the flag of the homeland remains lofty among nations in the spirit of the union that was built on solid foundations and strong pillars.
