SHARJAH, 25th April / WAM / The “Sharjah Animation Conference” (Animation), the global event organized by the “Sharjah Book Authority”, will be launched for the first time in the region over a period of three days, from 3 to 5 May, at the “Sharjah Expo Centre”, which provides A platform that brings together producers of film and television animation works with a group of the most prominent publishers in the region and the world in a series of meetings with the aim of strengthening partnerships to develop joint quality visual works.

The activities of the conference include a rich program of workshops and specialized courses, as well as a number of closed meetings to introduce publishers to the world of selling property rights to animation producers, sharing visions, trends and best practices in this field, in addition to exploring ways to obtain licenses and cooperate with international animation producers.

Closed meetings discuss a number of topics, most notably intellectual property, production, publishing and distribution rights, how to evaluate potential deals, negotiate licensing terms, and best practices to manage the deal-making process and determine licensing terms.
