ABU DHABI, 6th February, 2020 (WAM) — The Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense announced the continuation of the 51st joint Emirates Shield exercise in the waters, airspace, and lands of the United Arab Emirates.
The Joint Task Force “Khalifa” carried out extensive airborne forces operations to control the operational objectives set for it.
Major General Saleh Muhammad bin Mejren Al-Amiri, Commander of Joint Operations, said that the operations of the Joint Duty Force “Khalifa” come as a continuation of the operations of the Joint Duty Force “Zayed” and as a preparation for subsequent operations.
He added that the effectiveness of the joint fire plan in destroying hostile targets was the decisive factor in the success of the joint task force “Khalifa” operations.
